HEALINX CORPORATION RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS CERTIFICATION FOR ITS WEB-BASED MESSAGING SYSTEM CareStandard Select™ Recognizes Standards-based Internet Applications
Alameda, CA, October 24, 2000 - Healinx Corporation, the premier provider of secure Web-based doctor-patient communication services, announced today that its Healinx™ system became CareStandard Select Certified™. CareStandard Select Certification is a third party rating developed by CareScience, Inc. (Nasdaq: CARE) to evaluate health information technologies based on industry and federally established criteria.
Companies that receive the CareStandard Select Certified status are listed in CareStandard Select, the online source for health information technology products. CareScience developed its Select Certified criteria through a project with The California HealthCare Foundation to help promote industry standards and the adoption and use of Web-based health information technologies.
