HEALINX ANNOUNCES NEW IDENTITY AND EXPANDED CORPORATE VISION
New Name – RelayHealth – Represents Continued Expansion and Integration of Secure Online Healthcare Communication Services and Enterprise-Level Capabilities
Emeryville, Calif., August 21, 2002 — Healinx Corporation, the nation’s premier provider of Web-based, doctor-patient communication services, today announced a major re-branding campaign, including a name change to RelayHealth Corporation and a newly launched corporate Web site at www.relayhealth.com.
The adoption of the RelayHealth brand signifies an expanded strategic vision for the company based on two primary factors: the expansion of services through strategic acquisitions and developments, and a focus on delivering enterprise-level capabilities to healthcare organizations.
Over the past several years, the company has acquired important technology assets, such as the eScript electronic prescribing service, and integrated these offerings into its core service. In addition, the company has developed new services such as secure clinician-to-clinician messaging and online referrals to expand the range of online communications services it offers to the healthcare industry.
