Colorado-Based Physician Search Engine Gains Access To Online Doctor-Patient Communication

Alameda, CA, April 3, 2000 - Healinx Corporation, the premier Web-based doctor-patient communication tool, today announced that Denver, Colorado-based Medical Quest, LLC (www.medicalquest.com), a physician reference service, will provide their listed physicians with a co-branded version of Healinx for its online doctor-patient messaging system. With 7,000-plus physicians listed in their database, Medical Quest has the most extensive database of Colorado doctors. With Healinx, patients will uniquely have immediate access to online communication with their Medical Quest-listed doctors.

Using Healinx, patients can securely communicate online with their own doctor, schedule appointments, request prescriptions, refills and referrals to specialists, engage in consultation, access their medical profile online, and, together with their doctor, improve wellness through preventive care measures.

The Healinx system includes a patent-pending workflow tool that mimics the doctor's existing practice environment. Incoming patient messages are automatically routed to effectively delegate workload.
