RelayHealth Licenses Secure Online Communication and New Vasculitis webVisit® to Johns Hopkins Vasculitis Center

Collaboration to Improve Care Management for Vasculitis Patients

EMERYVILLE, CA, April 13, 2006  — RelayHealth Corporation, the nation's leading provider of online communication services for healthcare, announced that it has entered into a license agreement for its webVisit® and other online communication services with The Johns Hopkins Vasculitis Center (JHVC), a world-renowned leader in treating patients with vasculitis.

The new webVisit allows patients to answer specific questions about ten different forms of vasculitis and communicate with their specialist in their own words. Patients can use the webVisit to document changes in symptoms, reactions to current medications, and their experiences since their last in-office visit. The specialist can read the patient's answers and respond with treatment instructions, self-care information, and if appropriate, an electronic prescription.

Patients, physicians and office staff also have access to the full array of RelayHealth online communication services including: appointment scheduling, lab and test results, referrals, eScript™ e-prescribing, and care management.

"Johns Hopkins Vasculitis Center is one of the top healthcare and research institutions in the country, and we're honored by their decision to work with us," noted Giovanni Colella, MD, president and chief executive officer of RelayHealth. "Managing chronic conditions can pose many challenges but with effective treatment and close follow up the result of therapy may be sound, sustained health. We look forward to bringing JHVC providers and patients closer together through the coming years."
