RelayHealth's ProPBM application is designed to process high volumes of pharmacy transactions, while simplifying the process of creating and maintaining prescription drug benefit designs. In use throughout the country, the system currently adjudicates more than a million claims per day.
By keeping pace with technology, RelayHealth is able to offer the most robust prescription benefit management application available in the marketplace, one that will run on a variety of scalable platforms in order to meet the needs of organizations of all sizes. Customers can choose to license the application software and run it entirely in-house, or take advantage of RelayHealth's Application Hosting Service where the hardware and software is maintained at a RelayHealth data center. This application hosting arrangement may be a long- or short-term solution and can be part of the strategy for building an internal PBM system.
The ProPBM system is easy to use because of the intuitive nature of its graphical user interface. The graphical user interface connection can be established either directly from our customer's workstations, or via Microsoft's Terminal Server through our production data center. In either scenario, the user interface provides direct access to the system for plan set-up, formulary design, data inquiry and customer service functions.
