Much of the work RelayHealth completed for 5010 helped lay the foundation for ICD-10. For example, the product field sizes have been expanded to meet ICD-10 requirements. As a result of such proactive steps, RelayHealth’s products were ICD-10 ready two full years ahead of the new October 1, 2015 deadline.
